OPEN SME aims to bring university best practices, support, and guidance to your own home, in your own time. The online course helps you to uncover areas for development and consolidate your strengths through a series of modules, condensed into hour-long learnings.
Successful leaders know that to stay competitive in today's rapidly changing business environment, it’s essential to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. By embracing a 'Dare to Grow' mindset, leaders can push themselves to learn new things, take on new challenges, and continually upskill themselves.
How it works: Focused around four key modules; Digital, Finance, Marketing and People, each topic dives into how you can develop each area for better success. The on-demand programme is there for whenever you can fit in some online learning – whenever and wherever you want.
Best of all, you can now take advantage of these high-quality on-demand learning modules with the new mobile learning app, Pulse by D2L©, so it’s even easier to fit learning around your schedule. Simply register ‘OPEN SME’ as your school/organisation and use your membership login to access your modules on the go.
Each module can be tailored to your specific business needs. After completing a short self-assessment to highlight what you’re interested in developing, you can choose your own learning objectives to adopt best practices and management methods in the areas you feel you need most.
The short, interactive courses are designed for business owners with no time to waste. Complete a learning unit on the go in just 5 minutes and a whole learning path in less than 30.
